DeSoto Solar offers two types of permanently mounted passive solar heating panels. Both types are approximately six feet (1.8m) tall:

The first type is the on-wall panel. This type has been designed for retrofit to agricultural, commercial, garage, and shop buildings. On-wall panels are available in widths of two, four, six, and eight feet (0.6, 1.2, 1.8, and 2.4 m); and are installed by bolting them either to or through a south-facing wall. This type is available by special order only and must be picked up at our shop.

The second type is the in-wall panel. This type has been designed for use in residential and retail buildings. In-wall panels are available in widths of two and four feet (0.6 and 1.2m), and eight feet by special order; and are installed much like manufactured window units - they require a framed rough opening slightly larger than the collector panel body in a south-facing wall.
